A backpacker enjoys TV on an ‘urban screen’ located in a small park in the heart of Northbridge – Perth’s nightclub district. The screen is big and dominates the small park much like the screen dominates a drive in movie theater. (Do they still exist?)

how big is the screen and are there more than one of these around town?

It is the only one in Perth and the articles about when they opened it last year don’t give the screen size – which is why I compared it to a drive in. My estimate is that is about 30 feet wide. But that is a uncertain guess. Urban screens are evidently a world wide phenomena. It is no where as big as a drive in screen but the p[ark is nowhere as big as a drive in. You can see the size of the park in the video. I’ll Google more.
